Description
Wooden storage chest featuring hand-painted floral and figurative designs on all sides. The hinged lid displays a scenic depiction of Victorian-style figures in a garden, while the shorter sides each feature painted scenes of girls surrounded by flowers and birdhouses. The chest rests on four rounded feet. The interior is plain and unpainted, with a hinged lid secured by two metal hinges. Light wear and surface scuffs consistent with use and age. Dimensions approximately 36 inches wide by 16 inches tall (as shown with a measuring reference). The artist signature ‘Rose’ is visible on one side panel.
