Rectangular wooden storage chest featuring a hand-painted scenic design of rural landscapes, barns, houses, and figures in vibrant colors on all visible sides and the lift-top lid. The interior is lined with fabric featuring a rufflededge for decora tive softness. The structure sits on a scrolled base, and the back is painted in a solid color with two metal hinges for lid support. Minor scuffs and wear are noted, consistent with use. Dimensions approximately 18 inches wide, 12inches deep, and 1 2 inches tall.
